Society of Mary

The Society of Mary is a society of consecrated women devoted to the New Evangelization.

Our Society is consecrated and dedicated to the Most Holy Virgin Mary, Mother of God and our Mother, and for this reason we choose as our name “Society of Mary,” because we associate our life and apostolic work with the ministry of the Mother of God in the communion of the Church.  As Missionaries of the “new evangelization,” and inspired by the women that followed Christ in His public life, we seek to configure ourselves to Him in His missionary zeal, in His merciful love, and in His prayerful intercession for all people.

The Society of Mary is united to the Saint John Society through its origin, the same shared message, and the complementary nature of the common mission received.  In this way, we want to be a clear sign of the love of God that unites men and women.  We manifest this complementary nature in the mission, specializing in the accompaniment of women, formation of children, preparation of the liturgy, and organization of activities that can unite the different groups of people to whom we mission.
